Talon thinks so yeah!

I was doubtful when he first suggested we'd be ready so quickly, but I've poked around the alpha version a bit and it all seems to be working properly. It's not pretty right now (basically looks like the old black VGC site game pages, for anyone who remembers them) but it is functional and updating with crisp new box arts and banners will go a long way to helping on that front.

And given how much Talon's done on the site as a whole in such a short space of time I'm sure we'll rapidly improve it (I want to add a shipments section, for example, as suggested to me by Zekkyou. And I think a font change is necessary to make it match Trucks' new site design).

I'd love it if Oliist came back. Can't see it happening though; I think he was very angry about what Brett did to the database.

...I sent him an email - just to see if he'd consider coming back (heck, I was gone for almost a decade - there's no reason he can't come back, too!!). I don't know that the email address is still valid, but my message didn't get kicked back, so there's hope!!!

I told him that ALL of the data he had worked on, is still here and will be back online shortly - and even offered him a backdoor key to come check out the reconstruction while it's in progress. If he's ever going to come back, hopefully this will convince him. :)
