Thats what i was wondering, a few days ago there was talk about sony looking to add xmen ip's maybe thats a reason for this.

Sony Pictures is a total mess. They will ruin their movie franchises like X-MEN, I hope if they really want to be sold, Disney pick it.

Sony needs to get their own studio in order before they talk about buying anyone else's.

Regardless of if it's Sony or Disney, I feel confident in that X-Men will join the MCU.

I really hope this is some ploy to entice Disney, Sony hasn't made a good movie not named Spider-Man Homecoming for years
