This one is weird, since I don't think anyone has paid attention to a Rampage game in the past 25 years. Plus it gets the fundamentals wrong. The creatures of Rampage were humans that grew into giant bipedal animals. But, it's the studio's money to spend I guess. It was nice of Jeffrey Dean Morgan to completely reprise the role of Negan for this movie BTW. That is some fine acting range. 

I loved Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and seeing another creature-human interaction movie makes me excited.

Definitely gonna keep a tab on this movie. Seems promising. While it isn't exactly like the source, I assume they were desiring to not have the movie be considered a ripoff of other famous, currently existing films

Fun times, me and my bro played this almost everyday, and to the OP, yeah, why'd they change the concept from humans turning into monsters to just plain animals evolving of some sorts?

Too bad, and wasn't Lizzie an Iguana? and the Wolf is on its four legs lol would have been better if they went with bipedal monsters like in the game.

What the fuck? Will there still be farting puking and pissing? Those games back then were not that great. What an odd choice for an adaptation. Why not a new game at least?
