I prefer video game companies focusing on things of importance. Like... video games. Who do justice to the line of business they re in. By producing... video games. Not relying on accessories and non essentials. Praise basic technological evolution? Yeah, no.

Hunting Season is done...

I have love for every console but there's a lot of little choices that M$ made with the XBO feature set that keep me plugged in and playing. It really is great hardware.

Xbone X hardware is indeed more impressive than PS Pro. Good job, MS.

The Xbox One X is far superior to the PS4 pro, tech wise. There is one problem though. Xbox One X doesn't have a title like Horizon Zero Dawn for me to really see the need to own one instead of a decent gaming pc. Horizon Zero Dawn is pretty much still the best looking open world console game and until MS is really going to make an optimised exclusive for Xone S and Xone X, I doubt that will change soon.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Thumbstick length ;)

Microsoft is doing a good job. I really like how they allow cross play between systems. I think that was a smart move for Microsoft. Over 80,000 people were on rocket league yesterday thanks to cross play between them, PC and Switch. That's cool.

The XBox One X is a gorgeous piece of hardware. Really top of the line.

This whole misconception of Sony "dropping the ball" has been overstated. The biggest advantage that Microsoft had was when Sony announced the PS4 Pro was Sony revealing all of its cards because it was a public announcement. Now that Microsoft knows the spec of the PS4 Pro, there was little to no guess work on how to counter what the Pro had to offer in terms of spec. Also, releasing the X a year later allowed Microsoft more time to develop the X while components normally drop in price. This by no means is implying that the X is a bad console. Info and time were factors Microsoft used in its favor. And after what Sony went through with the $500/$600 fiasco with the PS3, launching the PS4 Pro at $400 was the right decision.

And about the 4K Blu-Ray playback, it's pretty much a non-factor at this point. There have been reports to the playback being shotty at best. Microsoft even officially announced they they were looking into it.

If you think MS designed the X in a year and a half your delusional. It had already been in the works for some time. It is not a knee jerk reaction to Sony.
