I expected around that amount. It's just not a market Microsoft has had success in. I see Xbox1X rapidly dropping to double digits in coming weeks there as well.

Oh yes! "But keep in mind, this is just the fans buying. It will be interesting to see if it will increase steadily over a long time". The PS4 Pro is doing about 5k+ now, but before it wasn't close to that. 

Gotta give props to Microsoft for even trying. The amount of money they have lost trying to tap into the Japanese market and yet they continue down that road.

I don’t think it has a chance to increase. From what I’ve read over the internet it seems that Japanese retailers don’t want to sell Xbox at all. Especially the expensive one x. So they probably won’t even buy it from MS. So the sales can’t increase if console won’t sell at all in Japan. 

Thats right. It would be impressive if Sony tries to tackle the handheld market again in Japan.
