Brazilian as far as I know like Nintendo a lot... but when talking about console it have been PS1, 2 and 4... with only X360 having a chance because of high price of PS3, piracy and XBL on X360 plus better performance for most of gen on multiplats.

Yeah man, the X360 was craaazy popular around here because of piracy. Also the Wii.

You could buy pirated disk from street vendors, and surprisingly they always had the last games available LOL

Its funny how piracy can boost the sales of the hardware at a crazy rate on these countries.

I'm from chile and it was the same here. Just at the end of ps3 life people started buying it more with the official launch and prices being more similar to usa ones(even if still more expensive), people are more open to buy original games since ps4 launch

I can also say that it's a country were most people own a playstation and use it mainly as a FIFA/PES machine, 360 and wii were popular because of piracy

by last games available you mean released in the same day through P2P shop =]

BTW!

To my latino fellas, it looks like the Switch has been cracked somehow.

I found an article in Mercado Libre selling Switch games CHEAP, like...dirt cheap.

This guy supposedly doesnt take the responsibility if Nintendo bans your account, but honestly i didnt know hackers already were messing around with the Switch.

280.000 Bs is like 4$

So the PS4 is now at 11.46m sold in 2017, this time last year the PS4 was at 7.4m sold (week ending 1st October - 2nd January 2016)

I had a hard time believing this, but at least according to VGC, it's correct.

The PS4 was, however, slightly lower this September than last. Looking at Sony's projection for the financial year, I'm thinking they are expecting the holiday sales in November and December to be on a par to last year at best, and perhaps even slightly worse. And the other three quarters makes up for it by being significantly ahead. Because no way is it going to continue the current rate of outselling 2016 during these next two months.

But he never said the Switch was not successful lol.

Despite everything said about the Switch's success, the PS4 kept selling more than the Switch worldwide throughout the entire month.
Well done PS4

Switch is still successful. Just not as Successful as PlayStation in Europe. Also, isn't the PS4 having it's best selling year this year? You can't compare the two like that when Switch (probably) hasn't even reached it's peak year like The PS4 has.

I thought Sept was up? Or was that just in the US?

according to the tool section, September 2016 was higher by 25k. Unless there has been adjustments that haven't made it over there yet. Currently, it says:

September 2016: 1,416,905

September 2017: 1,391,603

so WW it's down, not sure about territory breakdown

So far PS4 is up YOY for a good amount. And BF 199 may make the year end even higher than previous years.

Yeah just checked the thread and it was up YOY in the US.....with that I can't see it being up YOY there and doing so amazing in Europe but being down WW.....I could be wrong of course but still only by 25k that is still amazing.
