So Microsoft said they have 40 launch titles for the X1X but in reality they just had 40 games that were enhanced for X1X that would be ready when the console launched?  Appalling.

Hey, they're honest about the power difference on their site:
With 40% more power than any other console, experience immersive true 4K gaming. Games play better on Xbox One X.

True 4K is 4096x2160 btw :) How is 3840 true 4K! It falls short. DCI 4K is the only true 4K.

I don't think you're giving them enough credit for how long they've been slimy pigs on the marketing front. They make it so easy to dislike them that I consider not buying their products to be a service to the human race.

This is the official Playstation blog. I know you said "no blogs". - But just like Major Nelson for Xbox, this is regarded as an official outlet for the brand.

Seems like a pointless debate. Shouldn't even be bragging about how many titles. Should be able to enhance all previous titles. You know like what they are trying to mimic.. a computer.

They should focus on the XOX having more 4k native titles for a console. Nobody else can compete with that.

The whole XB1X marketing has been misleading and decitful from the start.
Making up terms like “True 4K” which clearly imply that the console will be Native 4K and then adding “checkerboarding” and “Dynamic Resolution” in the definition of that word on their website that no one will look at.

MS PR is always laughable and often illegal.
