Forums - Gaming Discussion - Console gamers, why do you feel console gaming is better than PC?

Yeah, pretty much this. Under half the games I buy every year are available on PC.

You cant do list wars with these type of things. For starters that's an opinion post. If you are not interesting in any of those games it makes the system not look any better and how many of those games are going to be great? We are now assuming.

PC also has a large collection of games not found on consoles. And a much larger variety and library to choose from. So really you are fighting an uphill battle with that list. Also with PSNow and Live on PCs that list of exclusives will shrink by a fair margin over time. Also remember the PC will do it better if you want it to.

See my first post in this thread. Whether or not you enjoy one library over the next is entirely subjective. Whether or not you like having a large library of older games, or just newer games is subjective. Whether you prefer quality over quantity is subjective. Hell, what games count as quality is subjective too!

Personally, I enjoy more games that aren't available on PC. So much so that PC offers very little to me. The keyword here is *I*. What games you enjoy may be entirely different. I was just pointing out that for a lot of console gamers PC doesn't offer much, because those gamers just don't like, or already own most games that are available on PC.

I can't legally play Nintendo games on PC and it is not as portable. Also Carts > Digital Download. However PC has a huge library spanning decades. So that is a plus.

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shinning justice on you.

I choose both, haha. I play both console and PC. I don't see a need to hate either one. It either comes down to preference or you just enjoy both of them. The way I see it, games are games, whether they're on PC or console.

If I got my console or handheld and I'm playing an insanely grindy RPG or just grinding in general I can set my stuff up and then meanwhile be chatting with people on the internet or just watching some dumb cat videos on my PC.

I prefer to be more immersed while playing on my PC so I don't want any distractions, also grinding unless its auto is really boring because I only got one monitor for now.

I don't, got Destiny 2 for pc and PS4 pro, pc holds solid 60fps at 1440p, and 30fps if you tab out of the window, the difference is shocking, going back to ps4 pro feels really choppy.

PC is king.

Since i'm on playstation this gen ( and most likely alson Nintendo at some point.)

1- exclusive games, i love some of sony exclusives, there are at least 10 of than that are just must play for me.

2- pratical and easy to use, just plug and play. I have no problem setting and building a pc for myself ( actualy i'm kinda good assembling "normal pcs"). The thing is... i'm not the only one that likes to play games in my house, so.... I would need to help than all the time. Installing games, updating drives, fixing minor problems, etc. That would be a problem to me...

3- less expensive. Even whit online services like ps+

I play on the PS4Pro for Sony exclusives that don’t come to PC. Switch for Nintendo and some third party games that make more sense being portable, and my PC for all the games that can be received for a few $’s because of the more abundance of deals you can find. Along with some games that just look better on my Gaming PC compared to Pro.

Depends on what you're looking for. I have a gaming laptop a pretty capable one, but it still cannot meet my wants like playing a Switch while waiting for an oil change, sitting while my kid is in karate or during a lunch at work.
