 erm... whew. Hello, and sorry.

Don't be, I read every letter of it while on the bus just now, so thanks for making things less boring.

Also, though I still love the game, I actually agree with your opinion on Twilight Princess.

#26 The Wonderful 101 / Wii U

My favorite beat em up action title, Wonderful 101 is so full of charm in its story, characters and presentation plus a really deep and engaging battle system.

It has a pretty big learning curve and some mechanics may not be really polished for some when the game decides to change the gameplay style, but for me is one of the most  memorable adventures I have had the pleasure to go through. Playing Punch Out with a giant robot, the fights with the space pirates and all the awesome set pieces. I just really love this game despite its flaws.

And that soundtrack

Prince of Persia

  • Mac OS
  • 1992
  • Action-Adventure
  • Brøderbund

An old game that was re-released on almost every platform under the sun. I played the Macintosh version of 'Prince of Persia' on our Apple Performa 630, our very first home computer, and later the PowerMac 5500. Unknown to me at the time, this meant I was actually playing the better version of the game with higher resolution sprites and a overhauled graphic design. The prince actually looked like a Persian prince here.

The player has to make his way through the dungeons and the halls of the palace towards the chamber of Jaffar, the Grand Vizier who has imprisoned the princess in a bid to take power over the kingdom. This is the main hook of the game, the princess will die in 60 minutes because Jaffar will kill her if she doesn't marry him, which of course, she doesn't. Which makes the game very hard because after that one hour it's game over. And this is not really a short game either, basically requiring the player to speedrun from the start. A case of massive trail and error.

At one point in the game, the player is halted by a big mirror that's impossible to break. In one of the most embarrassing moments of me and my parent's gaming life, it took us, literally, years to figure out what to do. This wasn't the age where you could just casually look up a walkthrough on the internet, mind you. As it turned out, all you had to do was, jump through it...

You make stars out of.... things... in this game.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

30: Hint 1: Animals versus old women in this sequel.
Hint 2: This game is a 5th gen game but it released after the PS2, and was still highly praised.

Hint 3: Unlike it's predecessor the 2 main characters can sometimes be played separately with even more special abilities.

Hint 4: The 2 main characters are a bear and a bird, the bird being in a backpack a lot of the time.

28: Hint 1: Features a zombie mode with one of my favorite voice actors (Steven Blum) as one of the 4 characters, who also happens to be in the anime of my avatar :P.
Hint 2: Okay time for a real hint, it's a FPS in a series that became yearly. This particular entry is the first in a separate series within that series.
Hint 3: Hmmmm, the zombie mode had my favorite map in it called Ascension. A common strategy to extend the game is to just run in circles while hitting headshots with a decent gun. However this mode takes a great deal of stamina, as getting to wave 40 can take over 3 hours.

27: Hint 1: An RTS! for home console! The version I got had many discs. The sequels would become PC exclusive.

Hint 2: The gist of the game is that World war 2 was altered because Albert Einstein found a way to go back in time and he accidentally kills Hitler which somehow made the world even worse.

26: Hint 1: Famous turn based strategy game. The version I got had 9 special scenarios where you can play as a historical nation in different eras like Greece, Roman, Middle Ages, and even WWII.
