Forums - - What's your favorite MMO game?

Adventure Quest Worlds

Specifically, the developer. They're still my favorite developer due to the fact they are constantly talking with their fans and putting their ideas in the game, weather thats gear for you character or even an entire story. The team is amazing and I hope they really do put AQ3D on the Switch. I think that would be a smart move for them. (They previously said they wanted to)

League of Legends. New stuff have been released getting ready for Season 8!

How's that even an MMO? You can fit more people in to an online game of Battlefield than a game of LoL, yet that's not "massively multiplayer".

That is true.

I've played Everquest, FFXI, WoW, Guild wars, Star Wars TOR, LotR online (very briefly), and FFXIV. Out of all of those I'd say FFXIV is my favorite by far. Every aspect of the game is just so well polished. Easily the best story telling in an mmo that Ive experienced.

Lineage 1 still is my all time favorite MMO because it offers the best unrestricted massive open world PVP out there, mass pvp (clan wars) can break out anywhere outside towns:

That's why i'm exited for its sequel:

Runescape is and will always be the GOAT.

DC Universe Online was my jam. I liked the simplistic nature of a beat'em up mashed in place of a standard MMO's "click on that enemy and wait for him to die" format. While you couldn't do much about your actual character's design, the design of your super suit was great. The game really took off after Weapon Mastery was introduced, making it less about frantic button-pushing and more about timed button sequences.

I spent quite a lot of hours playing Guild Wars and having tons of fun each time, so I totally recommend that. Guild Wars 2 is great, but I've always been more fond of the original.

Very old, it's Ragnarok Online.

Also played a lot of Cabal Online, still got Bloody Ice theme stuck in my head.
