Bye Bye Respawn. I quite liked you when you were around. Now Watch EA turn Titanfall 3 into Destiny 3.

At least their games from now on will use the frostbite engine and not the crappy source one.

Renegade is a spinoff so it doesn't count. Crysis is owned by crytek and Star Wars is licensed to them so they don't own it. Now they own titanfall after buying Respawn.

They won't because they have Anthem.
Also why are people saying Rip Respawn?

EA just shut down virscal games, and earlier this year shut down a team from bioware that made Mass Effect Andromeda. They also have a huge ass list of developers they killed. So yeah, Respawn has two options, either make Starwar games and Titanfall games that sell 7M+ for the rest of their life's, or die trying.
I don't understand Vince Zampella. He left EA and the Medal of Honor franchise because they he was fed up with EA, creating Infinity Ward and going with Activision. He then left Activision, Infinity Ward and the Call of Dury franchise to form Respawn partnering again with EA. And now he's going to let EA buy his studio so they can control him? It's like he doesn't learn!
Oh, well, good luck to the Respawn employees, they'll need it.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
Best wishes to Respawn. Not many studios make it out of EA acquisition alive.
I'll always remember Westwood being taken over by EA...and what they did to the C&C series...

Maybe he is just cashing out? Sell respawn for a bucket load of cash, then leave and live his life and be retired with hundreds of millions in his pocket
