The new xbox one model is out and it is selling pretty well. 

According to gamestop the majority of the stock has sold out. Amazon has the system on the top 5 sellers list for the past couple days.... so it's definately seeing healthy week one sales. 

But what I've been noticing is that microsoft is making it clear, and emphasizing that the best version of games will be on XBOX ONE X.....

XBOX ONE X the world's most powerful console

is the apparent name of the system. You go to gamestop andyou see it there along with the name. Same on other major gaming websites. 

Will telling people that the one x is the most powerful platform for games affect the sales between PS4 and xbox one?

It won't sell over 10 million units, if that is what you asking.
It will help the Xbox brand though.

Nice to see they actually are marketing it and not just throwing it out there like some of their past exclusives...

I feel the opposite, haven’t seen any kick-ass trailers that has been so good that it gives me chills.
The «Greatness awaits» trailer still gives me chills to this day.

That could be due to a bias.

It makes sense, the Xbox One X just released in time for the holiday season and MS always go out hard during this time of year.

Let's see how it does in a couple of months

Well first thing is that they kinda HAVE to market their new product. Second is its pretty much the only thing they have going for themselves right now. They can't even talk about anything coming next year that isn't halo or forza.

Lastly, unless you have been living under a rock this entire generation, you should know that MS always pushes really hard around this time every year. Come January or February next year.....
