I dont know what to say to you, maybe "open your eyes". :D  You basicly had hole summer U4 bundle on Amazon for $250

It was $270 on Amazon only. And that was discontinued a while back. Still no $250 or less PS4, as you claim it to be.

Actually U4 bundle was even lower than $250 on Amazon. Yes it was only on biggest online retailer in world. :D  And now you will have Black Friday deals for $199/189.

That was 1 day. You said the whole summer. We've all been watching the Amazon ranking so lying is of no use.

Anyone actually watching the US Amazon rankings would know that the Uncharted 4 bundle was $249 until the end of September.

I don't think so. I wish the way back machine archived that page. The only archive was on the 29th of September where the bundle was $304.

Nah, Stardoor, you are wrong about $249, it was actually 248.97 for most of the June (I didn't keep track after). They even had Gold 1TB for 9 days around E3.

Not like one could google the price: http://www.techradar.com/news/dont-miss-your-chance-to-get-a-gold-ps4-or-cheap-dualshock-4-in-days-of-play-sale

or see statements in various articles also stating:  "But with sale prices as low as $250 -- with Uncharted 4 included -- the PS4 Slim is at least a great budget game system, and one that doubles as a solid Blu-ray player and video streamer to boot."

Does anyone know why the news media does not reproduce a summary of the sales figures each month? It seems very odd to me.

By comparison, the Nielsen TV ratings are routinely (daily even!) reproduced in summary by various news outlets and blogs. That means that even if you do not technically subscribe to Nielsen's research, you can get a sense of some of the basic data just by perusing the industry blogs. You can see, for example, that The Walking Dead has faced ratings declines this season.

When it comes to the video games data, none of the sites (not even Gamespot or IGN) publish anything as far as I can tell. I have to assume they know, along with thousands of other people, how well Nintendo did last month. Why isn't this reported?

I don't mean to diminish the value of the data. Nielsen's work is phenomenal and absolutely worth the subscription, and I imagine it is also true of NPD. My only point is that there is an interest to the general public and perhaps for that reason it is acceptable for a summary to appear in the broader media under "fair use."
