Wow, call me crazy but I seriously thought EVERYONE pronounced it as letters. There are people who actually call it the Snes? Oh my god that just sounds so wrong to me. Everyone around me always called it by letters so this is just earth-shattering to me. I'm actually pretty shocked right now hahaha.

Everyone in UK pronounces it as a word, it seems those in USA prounounce it as letters.

As words, they are "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" or "Nintendo Entertainment System."

I pronounce the letters, so cringy when I hear people pronouncing them as words

I used to say the letters, but the four syllable "ess en ee ess" is a mouthful compared to "snes".

I will not abide this monstrous abuse of the English language.

I did say them as letters before, but now I find myself saying them as words. SNES does sounds pretty cool to me. Sometimes I call the PS4 as PS 4 when I'm talking games with my friends, as well as the xbone xD

Either way, I don't mind. I'll get what you mean with either saying.

Once I got the Japanese one, I started refering to that one as the Supa Fami and still do, haha
