As letters in English, I thought that was more common. As words in Dutch, it's how it's spoken here and would be weird if spoken as letters.

"Snäss", as a word if my discussion partner knew video game systems. Otherwise "Super Nintendo" (without "Entertainment System"). "Näss Clässick" and "Snäss Clässick" for the retro consoles. Why make it longer than it has to?
Never talked about the NES back in the days, me and my friends were more into home computers (Zeh vierundsechzig, Zeh-peh-zeh, Amiga and Ess-Teh).
Words... and every gamer I know do the same.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)
And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
I pronounce it by the letters. So, N-E-S and S-N-E-S. I remember I knew someone who pronunced the SNES as the ess-ness.
Never understood the logic of saying them as words. I don't pronounce PS as "Ps" or XB as "Xb"
I think I pretty much always pronounce NES with it's letters, but SNES is interchangeable between pronouncing it as a word and as letters.
As letters. Actually I have never seen a person who pronounced them as a word, that's new to me. lol
When I was little, every one called the SNES "Super Nintendo".
And everyone called the NES "Atari", dunno why
