Pretty sure everybody does as well, but as stated before, this is cheaper, smaller form and more power efficient. But less powerfull.

More power in smaller form factor is only a good thing for portables.

I wonder if this will make its way into higher end tablets the Surface Pro.

Yes, and this whole thing is about the mobile market.
