The haven't changed anything though.

The boost gameplay has been there since Unleashed and the side-scrolling parts were added in Colors.

True, but this isnt typical media. This is from TssZ a Sonic site. I dont ever read typical outlet reviews for a Sonic game. Hell, fans can be just a bad.

Worst excuse I have read today. I must remember you Sonic Colors, Generations and Sonic Mania were all well received.

It's Famitsu, they gave Star Fox Zero 8.8/10.

But that's nothing compared to them giving FF XIII 9.8/10 and FF XIII-2 10/10.

Famitsu scores are genuinely useless.

Well yeah it is famitsu but I just want to say that FFXIII-2 in my opinion was certailny a good game, in no way a 10 but I would give it an 8/10 compared to 6/10 for XIII. FFXIII- 2 in my opinion had better music, a better story (maybe to simple for some), it wasn't really linear, had exploration and replayability.

I thought Colors and Generations were great, easily the best 3d Sonic games so far, but the level design in the trailers and demos for Forces looked really bland compared to those 2 games from the start. I'm sure this will be playable, as opposed to 06, but I'm not expecting much more than that.
