I didn't mean for that to come over as snotty. It IS that simple though. The Paris week conference was just reminding Europeans of the 'singleplayer, story driven games' coming while this new push for PS+ (coupled with the new CEO and refusal to play ball with cross platform multiplayer) is to expand and cement current users of their online infrastructure, the only thing they can do at the moment to compete with two new consoles. 

US only thing lol. Even if I have a US account. I am still not eligible because I cannot access the site because of my location.

If only I cared about trophies, at all. I find them only really annoying, same on Steam. If there was an option to turn off any and all things trophy and achievement related in gaming, I would for sure, it's just a completely worthless feature for me that only brings about irritating pop-up notifications I don't want to see.

That's way too little of a reward for me to even care about it.

Rather meh.

Prefer other ways of rewarding players.

PS+ member for 5 years => 5% extra reduction for pre ordering games digitally + your PSN trophy level for example 20 => 20% price reduction for any game on the store once every three months. Etc.

With what I now earn every hour is almost worth 25 platinum trophies. While earning 25 platinum trophies could take me +500 hours or 0.05 cent/hour.
