Its actually 43, but I'm factoring windchill. To any Calgarians on the chartz (I'm not sure if there are any), I'm sure you understand the pain the last week has been (or to Canadians in general who have to face these temperature changes a lot). Last week, we had temperatures in the mid 20s, now we're seeing lows in the mid minus 20s. And now I thank myself for not having to deal with having a car in this sort of season, because I would lose my shit if I had to rush to get winter tires because of these rapid weather changes.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

That's crazy! The temperature here doesn't even change 40 degrees in a whole year.

The last few weeks were unusually warm, as usually we see temperatures in the low single digits around October. Still, it was nice to walk around in shorts in the middle of fall. Now its cold, and frankly I just wish I could stay home from work tomorrow. Sigh*

Temperature swings of 43*C in a span of a week isn't shocking, especially in western Canada. Many places around the world go through this in transitional seasons.

It makes for a catchy headline, though.

It still sucks a lot. Usually the swings are big, but 50 degrees is a lot. Going from wearing shorts to a 3 layer coat in a few days can be alien to a lot of people.

Climate change doesnt exist! /rolleyes

I actually love the cold. Another reason why I'd like to move to Canada before I'm 30.

Shouldn't really be lying like that in the thread title. Naughty OP!

And good, it needs to be cold so the Polar Bears can come out and play

LOL.

So I am a brit and we moan if the temp goes below 0 or above 28 over a period of a year

Your situation is incredible to me, I couldnt stand it.

40 degrees difference, not 50 :/

40 is pretty standard, but 50 is quite a bit
