The game looks bland as fuck, so not surprised.

First time I agree with cha.

It looks colorful but lacks soul, the mascot and other characters look like they came out of a mobile game.

I almost feel sorry for Xbox loyalists. Only almost because no one should be loyal to any companies machine.

But man is Xbox a bloody awful brand these days.

No need. Most Xbox owners I know are quite happy.

Stockholm syndrome.

The game is cheap so expecting more than a 7 would be over hyping. Ill check it out, however not holding my breath.

What would the retail price of the game dictate its quality?

Ratchet and clank launched at 40$

Senua's Sacrifice launched at 30$

Cuphead launched at 20$

To justify the expectations of a game based on how much it cost is just illogical.

I mean lewis has 5 Xbox One's already despite no exclusives on the horizon.

Forza Motorsport 7, also State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, etc.

But you have to ask yourself, why?

I never had an original Xbox. In fact, I despised it so much that I talked someone into selling theirs. I had a PS4 before I even got my first XBO. I was a day one buyer of both the PS4 Pro and PSVR. And yet, I like XBO more at this point and play it more often. My PS4 library probably dwarfs 90% of the biggest PlayStation fans on this site. You can look at my gaming library and see almost all of the PS4's best games and yet, if I could only have one gaming console, it would be The Switch.

BUT if I could only have TWO gaming consoles, it would be the Switch and Xbox One. I'm happy with mine. No need for SegayaSanshiro's sympathy.

I'm gonna give my original 500GB XBO away, though.

This. Very much this.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

This is no surprise whatsoever. Super Lucky's Tale is just a Flop of the Year Edition of Lucky's Tale for the Oculus Rift. http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/luckys-tale

VR enhances games and turns average games into great experiences. If you take VR away it's just an average game. Mervil's a VR adventure is a great RPG platform experience on PSVR, without VR the game is very bland though. It's no surprise that good games brought into VR like RE7 and Rez Infinite are still regarded as the best on the platform, joined by Superhot a while ago.

Now if something like BotW or Odyssey would end up in VR, have mercy on my free time!

Still going to pick it up to play with my kid. It doesn't look bad at all, just nothing special. Whether it scores 68 or 78 meta it doesn't tell much about the quality of gaming experience.
