Nintendo will win everywhere except for EU, which is the only place PS4 will be on top.

Provided there is not a stock problem of course.

The Switch will win in RotW? Where the 3DS sold a whooping 3.5M systems in 6.5 years?

Out of the big a FOUR numbers that are tracked.  US, EU, JP, and WW (World Wide total).  WW being the most important of course.

I believe Switch will take all of these, except for EU.

The Switch will win. All factors aside, the hype of this console is unstoppable at the moment. I think the Switch will be the console Christmas gift of the season.

ok um did I miss something? isn't black friday an USA only thing?

Mostly, yes. However, some stores in other countries also do it now, because it's easy money. I don't know how widespread this is in other countries, but here in Belgium only seven stores (two of which sell games) are participating.

So I assume that Black Friday sales won't make that much of a difference outside of the US.

It's going to be a toss up between PSN cards and Amiibos. Digital sales for the win and toy figurines.

For me, it will be either Sony or Nintendo, since depending on the discounts, I'll finally be getting either the Switch or the PSVR.

So far, the PS4 appears to have the better BF deals. How the Switch will do largely depends on stock. Even if Nintendo stays pat on the $300 pricetag, Mario Odyssey and Zelda will continue to serve as huge selling points. It's a tossup between the PS4 and Switch. For the entirety of November, I consider it a tossup for all three.

Let's hope Nintendo put more than 1M stock available.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

US: PS4  (~190$ PS4slim 1TB)
Japan: Switch
Europe: PS4
Rest of World: PS4
Global total's: PS4

NPD in the US for november should be close though, between all 3.  Because of how hot Switch is atm, and XoX pre-orders.

Switch both in U.S. and globally if Nintendo can ship enough stock. They may need to also beat their projection while they are at it, too.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

All three. PS4/XB1 will have great sales. And Switch doesn't need sales.

I'm not even sure the switch will get discounted. I am curious to see how it competes compared to (using kohl's at least) $189/$199 consoles.

I am also curious to see how a $500 console releasing 17 days before less than $200 consoles will fair.

There's no way the Switch will be discounted, it'll sell out anyway so why bother losing out on the money?

what if they discount the bundles?
