Galaxy 2>Galaxy>64>Odyssey>3D World>3D Land>Sunshine.

What's funny is that most people still consider their least favorite 3d mario's as an 8.5 or more. Nice to see that even the 'worst' mario games have insane quality

For me:

Galaxy > Galaxy 2 > 64 >>>3D World > Sunshine

Not sure where Odyssey sits yet, I only just finished the Metro Kingdom. So far I expect it to land at either #2 or #3.

I do remember a time when you adamently refused to buy the console after Nintendo fled the ship with the WiiU. What happened, there?

3D World. Fun gameplay, lots of levels and a outstanding soundtrack.

Galaxy 2 is awesome too.

Well, what I technically said was that (A) if they cancelled the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild I'd never buy a Nintendo product again, and (B) that after the Wii U they would have a very hard time selling me on another Nintendo system.

Switch won me over by fixing pretty much everything that I hated about Wii U; the droughts, the delays, the lack of ambitious software.

My last answer was Sunshine I think, but it may be tied with Mario 64, and at the end of the year, it may be Mario Odyssey, haha.

I haven’t played Super Mario Odyssey yet, so my answer is Super Mario Galaxy.

But from what I’ve seen so far, I fully expect Super Mario Odyssey to take the crown once I finally get to play it.

The game looks phenomenal.

I must give a mention to Super Mario 3D World. Its level design is simply amazing and so much fun, and it came very close to taking Super Mario Galaxy’s place as my favorite.

Mario 64 will probably always be my favourite.

I don't know when I'll be able to get to Odyssey, but I know Galaxy blew my mind when I played it. I know that it was so forward-thinking for both Mario and platform games, that Odyssey almost seems like a step backward in comparison.
