No, I wasn't making fun of XB1 owners. It's something that happens naturally to ALL owners of ANY console. You are convinced this new iteration of console 'b' is going to dominate. People even boldly claim they're going to regularly update things like Amazon threads because they're convinced it's going to dominate. Another console dominates leaving them feeling 'bad' or looking 'silly'. So, instead of just simply saying 'I was wrong', they then begin to attack games on the console they have the most gripe with. I've watching this phenomena for years now.
Another phenomena you might like to note is when a development team of a certain console goes multiplat. Suddenly that dev team was 'losing it anyway' or was 'never as good as people said (or thought)'
It's funny because I sort of want the price cut of the PS4 to fail in order to observe which people are going to be honest.
In this instance, I drew a conclusion laughably too soon, largely because I was well and truly hammered.

I’m wondering the same. Currently at 62. Guess switch and Xbox was too much for it. Let’s see what the $199 does for it.

I say wait until its afternoon in the US first before getting disappointed and start panicking.

People were waiting for the $199 deal. Wait half a day or so to see how high it can get.

Regardless of who wins, this will easily be the best November in terms of sales this generation in the US at least, with switch, PS4, xbone and even 3DS doing well. The true victory will be of the gamers.
The only people who will lose are the ones who predict consoles to die out.

Outside of the obvious trolls... No one thought that the X1X was going to dominate outside it's launch window. Literally, no one. Even the rate it is selling is quite a surprise to most xbox fans. They said that it was going to be a premium console with a premium price. It was a well delivered message and easily understood.
Is gribble a PlayStation or Nintendo fan? What’s with the negativity and wanting PS4 to fail?
