No company will slash prices unless they can get the hardware for cheaper. Watch this space, this is one of those deal which xbox struck in the past with certain retailers to encourage them to reduce the price to help shift consoles. Still doesn't change the fact that the price drop is done by a retailer and not the company that makes the console.

well, i guess the Xbox one x is losing steam now. I wished it took on more traction but it's done a fine job so far. here's to a great 3 years until the fabled Xbox 2.
