it seem so.

f the japan reports are true it seem japan can beat USA sales, because its selling out every week, seems demand is way higher there so far. even if it ship 1 million, there is so much stock  available it seems like there is at-least 200k-300k in store shelves.

Doubtful Japan will beat USA in sales.

short term they could have for sure.

Sure its possible but lets take a look at the 2 previous quarters this fiscal year

Americas

Q1-0.75m

Q2-1.17m

Japan

Q1-0.52m

Q2-0.83m

Americas has received almost 50% more units than Japan this fiscal year, why would they all of a sudden start providing more to Japan during the busiest shopping period of the year when America has the biggest upkick in sales due to the holidays? They wouldn't.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Ps4 still has shortages, at least the popular one's.
Hopefully sony will adress this soon+ extent the 199 deal since a huge amount of people could not get one.

I've questioned this myself. Seems as though they combine the 2 in the yearly charts..

No, it’s just that the yearly includes all the preorders for the Scorpio edition from August through November; whereas, the monthly for November includes ONLY the preorders and sales from November, and each monthly from August through October counted Scorpio’s preorders as sales for that month. Also, apparently you couldn’t preorder the regular XBO X? Or at least not until much later, which would explain further why Scorpio made the yearly and the regular X didn’t.

Thanks. That explains it. Just thought that pre-orders wouldn't count as sales untill the system was released.

More anecdotal madness, how can you possibly make a numerical assertion such as this?

Surprisingly I saw like 5 1tb PS4s behind a display case at Target earlier. In the same plaza, Best Buy had no 1tb PS4 but had plenty of pro and Battlefield bundles. BB had about 3 Switches and a plethora of various Xbox consoles including $189 500gb. Wal Mart a few doors down had no Switches or 1tb PS4 but had plenty of Pro and Battlefield bundles.

This looks similar to the rest: no discrete data, just mentions.

Any sources reporting actual sales leaders?

What do you mean? look at it "highest by dollars sales" = "ps4 1tb 199$".

This means the PS4 outsold the switch by atleast 50% in target to win that ranking there, instead of the switch (299$).

It means the PS4 1TB SKU outsold highest sold Switch SKUs by at least 50%

We dont know anything about the rest of the SKUs. With that said, it's very possible you are right in the total numbers.

14 hours since last update.

HARDWARE:
#02 XB1 (same)
#17 NS Neon (same)
#25 PS4 Fool's Edition (up 1)
#28 NS Grey
(down 1)
#40 XB1X (up 7)
#42 SNES Classic (up 11)
#60 PS4 Star Wars (down 2)
#71 N3DSXL NES (re-entry)
#73 N2DSXL T+B (up 6)
#75 PSVR Skyrim
(down 20)

SOFTWARE (Pre-orders Only)**:
None at the moment

Does not affect this month: *
Software outside of the month only gets added if it's in the top 20: **

PS4: 2 in the top 100 / 1 in the top 50 / 0 in the top 20 / 0 in the top 10 / 0 in the top 5
XB1: 2 in the top 100 / 2 in the top 50 / 1 in the top 20 / 1 in the top 10 / 1 in the top 5
NIS:  2 in the top 100 / 2 in the top 50 / 1 in the top 20 / 0 in the top 10 / 0 in the top 5

I never ever say this, and I rail against people who do, but I feel the evidence and trends are so strong that I'm going to: It is absolutely clear to me that, given the stock, Sony would win this month with ease. For all we know perhaps Sony HAVE won the month but if they don't it's going to be down to stock shortages.
