It is nice to see there are 9 undiscounted switch games holding up in amazon top 100 during black friday. WiiU days are really over...

The Wii u didn't have a problem with it's full price AAA hits selling well.

This Amazon Black Friday looks very.... meh.

PSN card 19.99$ at #5? This show that the chart is not that strong right now, last years the TOP 20 was full of games and consoles. I get there are stock problems for PS4 and Switch, but still. :-/

Not necessarily.  Every year there is almost 20m extra ps4's on the market. Every year the digital market share increases. That means it will be harder for games to bear the cards.

Yearly also updated. PS4 $199 is one spot up, now at #50. And XBX is one spot down, now at #55.  XBO $189 has yet to break into the Top #100 for the year.  There must be quite the difference between #5 and #17 in the monthlies.

Monthly update:

#05 / PS4 Slim 1TB ($199)
#10 / NSW Neon ($299)
#11 / NSW Grey ($299)
#17 / XB1 S 500gb ($189)
#22 / XB1 X 1TB ($499)
#26 / XB1 X 1TB Scorpio ($499)
#32 / SNES Classic ($79)
#45 / XB1 S 500gb BF1 ($229)
#62 / PS4 PRO 1TB White ($349)
#71 / PS4 Slim 1TB COD WWII ($299)
#76 / PS4 Slim 1 TB SWB2 ($299)
#92 / New 2DS XL ($149)
#100 / New 2DS XL Pokémon ($159)

XB1 X Pre orders
August #3 (Scorpio edition)
September #21 (Xbox one X)
October #63 (Xbox one X)

Interesting placement and hard to predict a winner.

PS4-the highest sku with 3 low ranking skus

NSW-2nd & 3rd highest skus, both high on the list

XBO-4 medium ranking skus

See my post above.  The monthly rankings are important, but it's more important to look at them in conjunction with the yearly rankings.  Looking at those rankings, we can see the PS4 $199 bundle outsold the XBX, even with it having 3 months of preorders.  And while the XBO $189 looks like it's right behind the PS4, it still hasn't entered the Top 100 for the year.

I'm guessing you mean for this year, right?  Cause 2 games did it in 2013.  And since then there has only been one console to break into the Top 5.  Guess which one it is.

edit: at this moment, November + bf is more important. We all already know that Xbone didn't sell well in the first 10 months

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

I only checked 2015/2016. What were thw 2 games that cracked into the top 3? Gtav and TLoU?

Nintendo are the Undisputed Kings of selling retail games, mostly because of the Tiny HDD space of their consoles.

The PSN cards being there at first sight is not that amazing, but when you look into it, there are literally millions of games being bought with that.

Both feats are great in their own right.

That obviously went over your head.  You see the X released this month.  So, its sales on the yearly charts includes all of its preorders and sales this month.  The $199 PS4 passed it on the yearly chart.  That means that it outsold its sales for this month PLUS its preorders.  The $189 S hasn't even broke into the Top 100.  Which means while it is selling well, it hasn't sold anywhere near as much as the PS4 did.  Get it?
