PSVR is surprisingly doing quite well. I guess it wasn't the issue of VR not being desirable, but rather the entry price.

I would like to think on amazon at least the XB1X is fine untill the PS4 passes it on the yearly chart.

at the right price everything is desirable. 

 

If nything what should be disturbing is the lack of XB1s in this fight.

Now I’m beginning to think the npd will be ps4>xb1>switch, the opposite of what I expected earlier... I think with the x there’s little chance that the xb1 comes last, and based on amazon at least, PS4 is going to quickly overtake them both.

Uhhh...what? Switch has been almost unmoved this entire time, how would it be 2nd when Xbox is all over the place

Agree.  If the Switch doesn't beat the PS4, I think it will definitely still beat the XBO.  Well, as long as Nintendo keeps stock in stores.

PS4 and Switch totally dominate the chart this generation, Xbox will be third, so this month's NPD will be something really crucial for his life. If with a new console MS can't win just one month on their own territory, I'm afraid that he will do something stupid. And when you think about it Xbox never won a single generation. The guy could be in pain.

Id say the Biggest Upset should be the PS4 winning the NPD.

The Biggest Letdown should be the Xbox One losing it.

It's a stretch to call the PS4 an underdog. Switch isn't getting discounted for bf and may have stock issues. And the Xbox one s had been selling  like a hot turd all year. The x could do 500k(that on the very high side) and Xbox could still come in 3rd.

 

but if that's the narrative u want to push go for it. Xbox doesn't need to 'win' for the X to have had a good launch.



Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.
