Forums - Sony Discussion - Sonys 2018 is lookng to be their greatest of this entire generation

Hello again,

I have a feeeeeling! Sony is going to push next year to the absolute  limit. Sucker Punch has finally revealed the last piece of the puzzle of expectation for the year. Hopefully it gets a release next year to complete the entire package. Dude...its never been a better time to be a gamer. OMG...the hype! We really need some gameplay of Ghosts of Tsushima. What are you hyped for next year? Is it Spiderman?  God of War, Days Gone or Detroit? Let me know how you feel!

Long live single player games!

So do we expect Last of Us 2 to release 2018 or push back to 2019? If 2018 then the line up will be crazy.

OOps quick update. Thanks for the response! I took out last of us. Even without it next year is going to be intense!

I can't imagine it will release next year. They said when it was revealed last year that it was really early in development.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I sold my PS4 a while back. Mostly due to financial reasons but the decision was easy because outside of Persona 5 and The Witcher 3, Gaming just wasn't doing it for me. Sony has somehow changed that. I am so hyped for video games. I truly thought I outgrew them. But what Sony is offering and able to nurture has me so impressed.

This conference was a perfect reason why I love Sony. It's why I love Sony and Despise Microsoft. Because for each risk Sony takes, MS takes a safe bet. Sony invests in themselves and their portfolio. While EA and Acitvision want to kill of Single Player Games in favour of GAAS and Multiplayer.

Sony is one of the few that are remaining committed to the best experience for a Gamer.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Videogames for SOny is much like Nintendo. Its now their bread and butter, so they will invest in being the best. Microsoft is not compelled by creativity and also because videogames are not the bottom line for them. Thank goodness for Sony and Nintendo, man.  Play Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey and you will see why 2017 is one fo the best years in gaming. Next year is ramping up to be better than this year. If Nintnedo drops some hot games, omg its going to be insane.

That's not correct. Sony is more than just games. It's not even their most profitable division.

Sony is more than just games, but when their company was about to turn to ashes, it was Playstation that helped save them. They took a huge hit for Blu Ray. In todays landscape Playstation is a key division for Sony. Playstation since day one has also influenced the sales of Sony's formats inside and outside of the gaming realm.

We hear this every year, don't we? The same was said about 2017.

Well...isn't that a good sign? As the gen draws closer to its end its good to know your gaming needs are being covered.
