I'm expecting gameplay at PSX.

I’m fairly happy they’re all going full steam ahead on TLoU2. We’ll have it in our hands sooner, and then they can move on to other things. 

I think this game is coming out a fair bit sooner than I(and most of us) expected. I'm leaning more towards early 2019 than late now.

I think this trailer was a bit much though, kind of edgy.

I could see them doing a gameplay demo at PSX which starts at the exact moment the PGW trailer ends. First thing you'd see is simply this female character grabbing a clicker by the throat and bashing it's skull in.

I don't think it will, mainly because I believe this trailer (and some of the tweets) are designed to throw us off the scent. I believe those clickers we see running into the scene at the end are in fact runners and ND has just switched assets there to make us believe this is present day. Clickers do not run like that and because I know how grounded ND are with the franchise, I don't believe they'll want to tamper with the basic premises of the 'known' infected. Therefore, if the scene continued, they'd have to replace those assets with runners and give the time line away. 

For me, this is right at the beginning of the infections. We're seeing Ellie's pregant mother strung up and a cult leader about to cut that baby out (listen to what she says). I'm going out on a limb here in saying these are 'The Wolves', another faction like the Fireflies but more aggressive. I also think we're going to play in a much more open environment at this point in the game, which will be the opening rather like Sarah's story was for the first game:

I heard someone else give this theory. It definitely would make sense, but I’m not sure I’m on board with it yet. Did you see the one dude hanging? Seems he was gutted, since his intestines are hanging out. And they were hanging out from the lower part of his abdomen—exactly where crazy lady was going to cut jacked girl. Crazy lady seemed like a religious nutjob, and it seemed she was referencing actual evil, rather than a baby inside jacked girl. Or maybe she was referencing something to do with the Cordyceps fungus? And maybe that’s what Yara meant by saying jacked girl was “one of them”. 

I’m probably completely wrong. Either way, I can’t wait for this game. 

I feel that would be one of the finer details and not necessarily a fly in the ointment for this theory. If she is a part of the group, she would know how those that break the rules are punished. Even if the leader doesn't know she's pregnant, the baby would still die. I would also say that Yara is a doctor and knows Emma is immune, which is why she asked Lev to cut her down even though she was 'one of them'. How we interpret that comment is still vague. It could be referring to 'the infected' or 'The Wolves' if that indeed is their name. I'm going with The Wolves and believe the scene prior to this is Emma being examined by Yara to verify she is pregnant.
