With how much PS4 sells Sony would never release a PS5 by 2019. Most likely Sony will wait till MS makes their move to respond to it, and with the Scorpion just recently released I don't see a new Xbox till late 2020, so Id think PS5 would be mid to late 2021. I also don't see this game releasing later than 2019, so no this will be PS4 only.

not to mention during the reveal even Shawn said its runing on updated engine.  the Only studios in my knowledge who developed brand new engine for this gen are guirella games and sucker punch.

According to this article the last of us part 2 actually runs on a brand new engine for some reason.

Well i think we can put this argument to rest ND confirmed it is an updated engine and not a brand new engine.
