The wife and I are trying to make a baby. So, we have a lot of sex for 7-10 days each month, then nothing for a few weeks.

If you are trying to make a baby, then have sex every 2-3 days. You have a big chance to miss the period if you try to guess when it is. Sperm can last days in the body, so if sperm is already in the body when the o period starts you have a greater chance to make a baby.

TLDR: nothing for a few weeks makes it harder to have a baby.

Yep, twice. That's not a whole lot, but I'm not actively looking for sex and I despise the modern concept of love relationships, so it's hard to find that someone who I could have sex with on a daily basis.

um ... well lol

I'm intrigued, what exactly is it about modern relationships that you despise?

I'm probably generalizing with my own experiences with relationships, so maybe that was a bit too harsh to say. But, well, talking about my personal experiences, I thought that every relationship I had demanded a whole lot. With the spread of mobile phones and message apps like Whatsapp, you're constantly in touch with people, which had its advantages, of course. But you could say that it's almost that you're in touch 24/7 with people. So with my previous relationships, when I didn't feel like I have to answer her freaking message for, let's say, a couple of hours (because I was watching a movie or playing Breath of the Wild XD)... Well, shit went wild a lot of times because of that. I don't think that this attention is healthy, and everyone should have space on his own, outside of the relationship, because that's fucking toxic. And that happened to me thrice already. The same shit. It went tiresome, and maybe I tend to generalize this attitude, but it was a 100% for me. That wouldn't happen years ago.

Also, the modern Hollywood-movie concept of being a "prince charming", being so kind, so lovable, so gentle, so really perfect hurts a lot. The expectations are high as it could ever get, and I can't fit that stereotype. Well, and I really don't want to, because it's really pathetic imho. I don't think that in order to love someone you have to be always stating how beatiful/good/well-being the other person is XD.

Again, I might be a bit OTT with "modern relationships", but I can assure you those things happened to me in every relationship I had. So maybe this was a wild generalization.

Well, it's been a long time since I have been in a relationship, but I totally get the whole "in touch 24/7" thing, even with friends/family nowadays it feels like we have to be on call constantly, it's so stressful. I'm the kind of guy who needs his alone time to recharge, I'd get exhausted having to keep in touch with a girl all day every day.

Agreed, it's really stressful. But with time my friends/family respect (well, accept at least xD) that I need time on my own. But somehow my ex-partners didn't get through that and thought it was because I didn't love them enough.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
