Have we had anything like this before? And it's october, it beat a march game. I'm very optimistic about its sales.

It something unique. However I imagine GTA could easily do that. Maybe the next pokemon.

In France, too: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/bestsellers/2017/videogames/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsar
In UK Crash Bandicoot is still numero uno: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/2017/videogames/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsar
In Germany, there seems to be a love-hate-relationship to FIFA 18 (bestselling game, but only 2 of 5 stars): https://www.amazon.de/gp/bestsellers/2017/videogames/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsar
How? Zelda sold 1,6 million in the US...
Has Mario sold more than a million on launch in US alone? Is it possible?

This is amazon only not the entire retailer. Doubt day 1 sales are even close to 1mil... But maybe but def not 1.5mil+

I'm aware of that, still I think it's an indicator of the general direction things are heading. Switch has sold two million in US so Mario could be a million. It's extremely popular.
Dang, not bad at all. Now I'll just eager to see what sales will be like for the game
Dance my pretties!
