So hardware is selling really really bad

I still wonder how they make so much money with the Cloud.

Thankfully, Microsoft is more of a software company...

I think...

I do not think they sais anywhere it is selling "really really" bad, not reaching the same numbers than last quarter (or last fiscal year Q) does not mean "really really" bad. In fact we know the Xbox One actually selling quite well (not selling as much as a competitor does not make it really really bad)..

Funny that this is the only thing you can take out of this :)
Those numbers are amazing. As always for MS

Xbox hardware revenue dropped by 48% from FY17 Q1 with lower console prices and unit sales as the culprits. And Xbox hardware revenue for FY17 Q1 was down 28% from FY16 Q1 also because of lower console prices and unit sales despite the launch of the XB1S.

Guess we are the only ones who read the actual Xbox part of it, wonder how software would be without PC included

Given cross platform play and the Windows game store struggling to gain momentum against the likes of steam?

Pretty much the same I'd think.

That's only for the Xbox part... Microsoft is also doing Surface etc... He was talking about hardware.
But yah, if he is only reading the Xbox part, I guess results are not so good. Would not call them really really bad tho as it seems to still be enough to get software up.

Windows Store sales likely only contributes a little bit of revenue. Instead we should really wonder how much Minecraft contributes to the overall gaming revenue. It's on every platform you can name and Microsoft gets the majority of the money earned per sold unit because they are both the developer and publisher.

You might want to change the part in your previous comment where you said the XB1 is selling quite well
