I could've mixed it up with one that indeed enabled a beta for the dark mode - I've found extensions that do that when googling for one.

Thanks guys. Hopefully the mod team will consider it, but I doubt it. Site's been running for over a decade now, you would think we already would've had it if the mod team wanted.

The Mod team in a way never had as much power as they do now, from what I understand. They have 2-3 people that code on the site atm, and little improvements have been continually rolling out, so your chances are better than ever.

Ehhhhhh, I would not be surprised if that feature got added. It's not too difficult to implement (at least in my experience with things such as CSS, though I admit, I am a complete amateur at web design), plus we actually a proper dev working on the website now (TalonMan).
