What are the ads like on the site generally?

I'd never pay anything to post in a forum. Seems like most wouldn't going by the supporter system here. At least that had some extra incentive above posting though.

A site built on the piousness of old NeoGaf users. Yeah, if anyone was complaining about a 'hivemind', 'SJW' Gaf before, this new site should be magnified ten times over.

Although I do find it funny how it went down, people just jumped ship as soon as they could, but that's just how Gaf was/is, something comes out about someone they don't like they rush to attack and denounce them without waiting. It was inevitable that it would eat it eat itself if something like this happened.

And a lot of the people who left did it by suicide accounts which was also pretty funny as well.

So all that's happening now is the gaming public at large seems to be laughing at them, and while the users who jumped ship feel they can hang their head high in not going along with the farce that is current Gaf, I think that laughter is still pointed at them as well.

And GAF was supposed to be the bad place?

Theres nothing wrong with how they want to run the new forum, and letting people know who is running things.

A big problem people had with GAF was how it was once very welcoming, but some time through 15/16 it descended into what we know today. The people who pushed that behaviour can have a forum of their own. People aren't forced to join it.

Another haven for ex-GAF seems to be Slaent. Which is a lot more like old GAF.

There's a lot of options open to people. You don't have to go to this far left forum.

You don't have to pay to register, it's only that you can't register with a free mail account (like gmail), you need a paid one
