Polygon: Original Xbox compatibility, and 13 games, arriving on Xbox One tomorrow

So tomorrow, XBO owners finally get to enjoy a few of their titles from the 6th gen. I'm looking forward to it as I've purchased quite a few original Xbox games back when I bought a 360.

I only own a couple of games from that list but it's a start. Hopefully Conker gets the treatment, soon.

No Halo 1 and Halo 2 is a crime. I want to play Halo 2 with it's original, untouched mp.

I don't think you gonna be able to play the online portion of OG Xbox games.

Why not? I don't see why they couldn't make that work.

I don't see MS opening some OG servers for just a couple of people that are going to play those games.  I don't see them as big as xb360 games.

Those servers can pop up on demand on Azure as VMs... Why not? I actually think Xbox Live will probably be working for those title (if not today, at some point). It is the beauty of the cloud, you do not need to dedicate any hardware.

A very cool feature, and one that, in conjunction with 360 backwards-compatibility, would make many want an Xbox One through its sheer coverage.
