Aaaand here is why it won't do well.

With the average consumer ignorant about the power difference, chances are they'll go for the Pro since it'll be 100+ cheaper

Yeah sure......... except Microsoft are actually marketing the X and making a big deal out of it, unlike Sony did with the pro (not that they needed to, but still). Some consumers are ignorant of the Pro even existing tbh.

There's a reason for that, Sony wanted to keep the focus on the slim, while MS seems more eager to make the X their push forward.

That was so vanilla. It tells the consumer very little. That song has been used in so many game ads..even Saints Row I think. I'm sorry but that as a dull ad and not very informative nor creative.

Looks like good stuff! Is it going to be stronger than the pro?

Nah the real problem the X faces is the S plays the same games at half the price. Sure you’re not getting the same resolution but most ppl don’t care about that this late into the gen.

I mean theres an xbox one S bundle with the MCC and halo 5 for only $279!.

The biggest problem I have with the add is it shows :

A ) A shit ton of old games

B ) It doesn't even show the games, it shows like a clip and some live action shit

The problem I see here is that Sony are currently running PS4Pro adverts in the UK with 'Dynamic 4K' and don't even mention some games run in 'Native 4K' (which they could). While here, in this XB1X ad, they're running with 'Native 4K' without mentioning some games won't run in 'Native 4K'.

I can see a potential problem and accusations of false advertising if MS aren't careful.

The PS5 Exists.

Weird way to advertise "the world's most powerful console" without actually showing game play.

But I am more than the average consumer. I pay no attention to anything Sony or Microsoft related and I usually do not look for it. They do.

I Push Nintendo products and enjoy selling expensive PS4pros. Hopefully consumers are interested in learning more.

I'm not calling you dumb or anything. However, will the average consumer care about 'more power' if they have a cheaper option? You're the one working retail, so it's worth asking you what would sell in your area - the cheaper console, or the better one?

Marketing makes a difference, but price tags do as well. Not sure if $499 will be an easy price to swallow

It'll stay as a niche device I suppose. No more, no less

Ok add, not good, not bad.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.
