They are especially welcome, they have some insaders and people who have informations from Japan sales and Japan devs from first hand. I mean people like Chris 1964 would be very welcomed everywhere.

That was normal thinking when PS4 had worst 1st year ever in for any gaming hardware in Japan (it needed 49 weeks to hit first 1m), lotsa people (including me) thought that PS4 will not pass Vita LT with those terrible sales from first year, so that wasnt strange or "crazy" thinking. We also had here loads of people that said Switch will be fail, so what, people can be wrong.

I wouldn't call them Nintendo fanboys, but of course that Japan sales thread will have plenty of Nintendo fans when Nintendo was almost constantly dominating in Japan sales past 10 years.
They criticizing Japanese developers when they skipping Switch because it's obvious that Switch will be (it already is) huge in Japan.

Not just switch but when ps4 games skipped 3DS/Wii U too. This has been going on long before Switch was even revealed.
And they were deluded fanboys regarding ps4 sales. Did they really think ps4 sales would remain low when the inevitable awesome line up of software hit? No they let their hopes cloud their judgement.

I didn't pay attention before on those things for 3DS and Wii U, but hardly they were saying same things for 3DS and espacily Wii U that they are saying for Switch now, because it's obvious that Switch will be huge in Japan and Wii U didnt, and Switch has enough power and supports for all modern engines that 3DS and Wii U lacked, so now it has more sense for 3rd partys to do more ports for Switch compared to 3DS and Wii U.
When PS4 selling like crap for hole year and has worst 1st year ever in Japan, you are not "deluded fanboy" when you say that PS4 is selling like crap and that will have low LT sales. People mostly were saying that in PS4 1st year, later when PS4 start selling better nobady relly were saying that.

Oh this made me laugh.
The pattern I'm seeing following the downfall of neogaf:
Staff of sites: welcome!!! Come and make yourself at home!! (and why wouldn't they, traffic means money)
Users of sites: oh god please don't come here now your bubble has burst, it was bad enough dealing with your bs when you were all in one place without that sh*t mudding our waters too"
It doesn't take much thought to ask yourself why communities across the net are saying no thanks to the influx, and come to the conclusion that people feel that way for a reason.
