Not watching another ten minute video of CNN assuming people will side with them.

I don't think that interview was nearly as insidious as the title suggests. The interview changed trajectory the literal second the mother suggested that she harbored no ill will towards Trump. They were completely respectful.

What else could they do live on TV. CNN are sick.

Pretty much this. They got someone in who had something to say about a topical story and respected them while they spoke, even though it potentially didn't fit with their political agenda. What more can you ask for?

But this phonecall refeered to Mark R. Alencar who died in Afghanistan and the phonecall with all the controversy referred to La David Johnson who died in Niger.

Yes, I have been double checking to find out and realised the site I used (that appeared on my recommended) is actually being disengenuous here. The original thread was simply about the CNN interview in which it's clear they never got the answer they wanted. That's why I ran ONLY with that in mind when I titled the thread. The second video is something I stumbled upon from the same site and just added it thinking it was related to the latest news.

Hopefully I can now edit and THIS post actually posts. Sorry about the confusion but the reason for the thread still stands. The second video was just another attempt from CNN to get the answer they wanted but again failed to do so. 

Just so that it's clear that it is not related in any way to the controversy regarding LA David Johnson?
