Forums - Gaming Discussion - Inazuma Eleven Ares for PS4, Switch, iOS, and Android launches summer 2018 in Japan

Many years ago I played the first 3 on NDS and I really liked, I hope it will be a good game.

Inazuma Eleven Ares will be released for PlayStation 4, Switch, iOS, and Android in summer 2018 in Japan, Level-5 announced during the eighth edition of its monthly Inazuma Walker broadcast.

The game uses a design that allows even people who do not normally enjoy playing soccer games to enjoy playing soccer. It will maintain the strategic nature of soccer while also not making it difficult. The graphics will be even better-looking than what was shown today, and Level-5 is currently working on how to make the controls enjoyable for everyone. The theme is to make each individual character appear with the same quality that they are given in the anime.

First DQ, then MH, now Inazuma 11 for PS.

Hopefully YW and Layton are on the cards too. Though this footage looks rough

Lol this is literally exactly what i predicted in my thread from January ....

Now that Switch is the only handheld platform for the future, and it's pretty compotent, we'll probably see devs port a lot of their games to both systems at once.

There will be a western release, right?

Coming to the PS4 was not a surprise when their last established franchise, Layton came onto to smartphones so going forward I would expect the vast majority of Level-5's titles to be released for PS4, Switch, iOS/Android and maybe even X1/PC too!

Hopefully, this means that future installments of Yokai Watch come to the PS4 since there's no reason to design games around dual displays anymore ...

Quite a surprise. I hope Layton can come to Sony too.

Anyone else annoyed on how he doesnt get tackled or any other challenge to keep ball possesion on this trailer? I know its just an early video showing controls, but damn!

Besides that, one of my fav series, finally on ps4, hope it gets an us/eu release soon

Wow... didnt see this comeing.
Inazuma has always more or less been only on Nintendo systems, nice to see it comeing to PS4.

Sounds like a good decision from Level 5, with the way Switch is designed there is no need to keep some games exclusively on Nintendo platforms anymore.

I like that Level-5 is starting to share their games around more.

Wouldn't be surprising then if Ni no Kuni II and possibly the first game also make their way to Switch.
Ni no Kuni would be a perfect fit for a Nintendo system.
