I agree, but I think a better balance would have been appreciated by a wider audience.
Single player is still a very large portion of GTS, and you do get to use the ride of your choice in many, but just like in the past, some races are regulated to a specific vehicle. I don't see an issue with the new single player format, and I believe with the enhancements to arcade mode, it is actually the best single player GT so far. I guess some people just need an area of curated events with labels like Endutance, GT Championship, and such.
As for the players interest in cars, that is definitly true about the younger generation. However, I think they could have had a simple tune, and complexe tune option. Like Kaz mentioned, all the old modifiers are still present, they just got rid of upgrading part by part, and simplified to a power/weight system.
In a way I wish GT was actually a way to train the new generation about how a car works, but with electronic cars right around the corner, and everything about the classic drive train on its way out, the world of automotives is a much different place, and is only going to move further and further from traditional parts as we proceed.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
