I remember being cautiously optimistic.

I believed that the hybrid concept was the way to go and being happy to see that Nintendo agreed.
I wasn't a fan of the Joy Cons when I first saw them, (even now I'm still a bit indifferent to them).

Overall, I thought it was something that would be either a huge success or a colossal failure, it just depended on the execution.

One year later, I think it's safe to say that it's the former.

I was not impressed with Splatoon and Mario Kart.

This trailer sold me on a Nintendo hybrid; I had no idea that Nintendo could pull it off.
At first I thought it would be a clunky device following the WiiU.

They did, this trailer proved that to me.
