"How often do you local multiplayer?"

Basically never anymore, and dont really miss it.

I prefer to take turns, type of deal, over both playing at the same time anyways.

Not too often anymore, maybe biweekly or once a month?

Smash 4, Kirby Clash Deluxe, AoFE, Symphonia

Am mainly playing single player games or online

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

A couple of times a month. I bought Fire Emblem Warriors today as me and my gf are very looking forward to play it together. We already had a great time with Hyrule Warriors, this is gonna be the same fun.

Right now I'm preparing for an evenig with some colleagues and I will bring my Switch along. We'll play 1-2 Switch and get drunk. Good times are ahead!

Watching the add in the OP raised questions, though. Do games like Crash, Monster Hunter and Locoroco even support local multiplayer?

Almost everyday with my wife, my friends, my nephews.... and my boss at work(lool.... ._.)

P.S. Played on Nintendo Switch.

All the time. Having local couch coop feature is a big plus for me which is why I love games like Secret of Mana to RE5 etc.

And that's one of the main reason I still play Nintendo games cause they've had Mario Party, NSMB etc.. PS4 has a number of great local party games but never as fun as Mario Party. Which is also why I think it's stupid for the new Mario Party game to be released on 3DS instead of Switch (or Wii U).

The Crash bit reminded me of how often in my childhood I would sit and watch others play single player games and vice versa. We'd point out things the player may have missed ("I noticed his eyes flash three times before he does that attack"), take turns at difficult bits, joke at dumb things in the game, and yammer on about unrelated things. It's not technically multuplayer, but was interactive and fun in its own way.

Every weekend, mostly on Saturday afternoons, with my niece and my bother at home or with my other nieces/nephews at my parent´s house.

Lately, we have been playing Mario Party Star Rush, Animal Crossing (on the 3ds), RE: Revelations 2, KOF XIV (PS4) , DK Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 7 (WiiU).

Until a few months ago, I used to play with friends, at home or in a mall with our 3ds´s , but life has changed a lot - some of them got jobs, I moved to a different apartment, others started college..... man, I really miss those times.

I play local multiplayer quite often with my roommates.

That is really the only form of multiplayer I ever do.  If I am going to game with friends, I'm going to invite them over and we are going to have a game session, so we can laugh with each other in realtime.  So thankful for Switch in this function.

As if I let anyone in my flat.

But I did recently play 4-player splitscreen Mario Kart at work on my Switch.
