Square doesnt 'need' to do anything, im sure it will be perfectly fine without it. Can the Switch carts contain all those games? As for Xbox, they dont really care. At this point they know its not going to do gangbusters on that system, but the difference is that its an easy port for them to do, so its a little extra for them anyway. Wouldnt be surprised if MS footed the bill to pay for the port anyway. To port to Switch will require a little more work.

I always thought it was weird that Xbox One is getting KH3, yet the Switch isn't. Although I know the series has fans on the XBox console, it's still unproven for that series . KH games have sold great on Nintendo consoles. The Switch should definitely get KH3. I really hope they do. I agree they should also get the remasters. Xbox as well since they are getting KH3.

PS4 has exclusivity in Japan, so the Xbox version won't sell there. Even if it did, the PS4 would probably the top seller. It started there. Still, I'm glad the Xbox is getting it. Square just needs to make sure Nintendo sees it. He shouldn't need to see if the interest is there when he knows it sold well in the past on Nintendo platforms. The Xbox version is the one he should have waited to see if the interest was there.

That would be neat actually. I'd consider it, considering the older copies I have are on PS2, and I don't have a lot of luck with those systems. I'd definitely consider one with Birth By Sleep on it, and KH3 would just be excellent

They said it can happen in future, so fingers crossed!

Square Enix and its developers clearly enjoy making odd decisions, so a decision that would benefit them in the future may be out of the question entirely.
