Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Batman: The Telltale Series release date confirmed for the Switch

Previously, we reported that Amazon tentatively listed Batman: The Telltale Series for November 14 on the Switch. In a tweet today, Telltale Games has confirmed November 14 as the North American release date. The game will launch November 17 in Europe and Australia.

Looks like November is getting more and more crowded with 3rd party games for the Nintendo Switch.

November is the month of third parties it would seem

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Nintendo seems to have crammed all the third party games into the month of November, LA Noir, Doom, Batman, Skyrim all within a week or two of each other.

Hopefully the plan is successful and one game doesn't take away much sales from another one.

B...b-b-but it barely runs on PS4! Only 60fps PS4 games can run on Switch!

Also, great to see that when Nintendo created an opening for 3rd party releases, 3rd parties actually showed up this time.

I don't think a Telltale game is gonna take away from sales of games like Doom or Skyrim, cause to be blunt, Telltale games kinda lack in substance I'd say, but damn, November is packed like an air sealed bag for Switch.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Who has ever said that Telltale games can't run on Switch?

I was referring to certain people who had reduced debates of wjat 8th gen games could run on Switch to 30fps=can't, 60fps=can but only at 30fps.  Which was reductive and silly.

Well i'm sure telltale could get those games at 60fps on ps4 if they wanted to

in fact i'm surprised they aren't?

Framerates are uncapped but performance is terrible, going up and down between 20 and 60 but only hits or gets close to 60 rarely.  At launch, it was normally between 20 and 30.

What's the consensus of the Tell Tale games? I remember watching Back to the Future game and surprised it was good.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true
