Forums - Gaming Discussion - Let's talk a bit about the Souls franchise (Bloodborne players are welcomed too)

· What's your favourite Souls game? What's your least liked/most disliked one? How would you rank them?

Bloodborne is easily my favorite, followed in order by Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls 2: SotFS, and Dark Souls 2.

· Favourite boss in the franchise?

A tie between Artorias, the Abysswalker and Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower

· Something you'd change from a specific game? An area, specific part of a lore, a dungeon?

I would give Bloodborne a more non-linear opening (alá Dark Souls 1), make the multiplayer work more like Dark Souls 3 (from soapstones all the way to the arena), and add more DLC.

· Most frustrating moment for you?

Ludwig, The Accursed

· Would you rather bang Priscilla or the Maiden in Black? How about the Doll?

Yuria the Witch

· What was Miyazaki thinking when designing Dark Souls 3?

If it worked for Linkin Park, it'll work for me.

Dark Souls 1 opening is extremely lineal, unless you mean from Firelink Shrine onwards, on which you get immediately several different paths to choose from.

Dark Souls 1 is my favorite.

Sif from DS1 and The Giant Lord from DS2 were a couple highlight moments for me.

Those Stone Keys or whatever in DS2 felt dumb, outside of being used to unlock a few secret goodies.

Fighting Gehrman in BB for the first time.

Priscilla cause she's fluffy.

Ocarina of Time ruined gaming.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Bloodborne is one of the games of this generation ! IMO Dark Souls ain't got nothin on BB

I'm referring to Firelink and onwards.
