Forums - Gaming Discussion - GT Sport: Sony Are Idiots

Still arguing about whether it's plural or singular? LOL

It would be like saying 'They is idiots'.

The PS5 Exists.

I feel like the finger should be pointed at polyphony, not Sony in this case. However, it might also be a bit of Sonys fault for giving PD too much free reign.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

I wouldnt put it past Sony. SFV also suffered after Sony brought the exclusiveness. GTS seems to fall on the same sword as SFV.

What difference would have made if the game released on Xbox?

Ive noticed that Xbox fans blame Sony when an exclusive fails to meet expectations in sales, same happened with Lawbreakers when people literally tweeted Cliff when the game underperformed (badly!) saying things like:

"Hah! That's what happens for not releasing the game on Xbox"

Like the game would have been a million seller or something

Have you seen the PS4 vs X1 sales ratio with most games? Have you seen Tekken 7 figures?

The PS4 sales DEMOLISHED the X1 sales for the game, if SFV would have released for the X1 and sold what, 15% of what the PS4 version did, it would have flopped regardless.

Nope, the gramatical rule for the entity as a collective demands the use of singular... so the use as "sony are idiots" is the equivalent to "I are awesome".

Yes sure, Sony gone to Capcom and said "make a poor version of SF V because I want to see it fail". Where also Sony that demanded the failure of GoW and Halo on X1?

If it was exclusive to X1 it would sell less, if it was multi it could have sold more... but the logic on azzanation discurse is know on VGC.

It does fall on the same sword as SFV. Releasing bare bones at $60, wiping out a lot of what made the franchise big so that they can cater to a very small part of its fanbase. In GTS its online gamers. In SFV it's the competitive fighting scene. Maybe it's a design choice to make more money. Milking those gamers might make them more revenue than selling a few million more copies, idk. I don't think Sony is to blame for SFV though. Just Crapcom being Crapcom. They've ruined plenty of their franchises all on their own. For another recent example look at Dead Rising 4. I wouldn't blame Microsoft for that.

To whoever posted about Xbox fans blaming Sony for sales "flops", it's not as if some Sony fans here didn't blame MS for DR4, Tomb Raider, Sunset, Titanfall, etc. Every fanbase has them :)

What is wrong with you guys?, this is clearly the best racing game ever and online should be needed for all single player games to add to the experience. Lets say the is a bad storm outside and your internet goes out so you can play the game, well that makes it more real since in real life the race would maybe be called off :D .

Amazing! The realisim is astounding,GOTG , nothing comes close.

None of the franchises you mentionned are nearly as mismanaged as Gran Turismo.

In fact I don't know why you'd think Dragon Age is mismanaged. The latest Dragon Age game won GOTY by most publications..

I haven't actually played any DA game besides Origin, that one I was going off what fans said. The others I believe in full heartedly as big fans of those franchises.

That being said I never hear someone casually bring up Inquisition, it almost seems forgotten, and that game along with many other games suffered from what I like to call the "2014 syndrome". Essentially there were so many big disappointments coming out that year that the few decent games we got ended up being massively overrated (Shadow of Morodor, Dark Souls 2) or were good games that looked greater than they were against all the mediocrity (Wolfenstein The New Order, Far Cry 4, probably Dragon Age). Essentially, 2014 was such a dry year it is kind of self-explanatory why Dragon Age won.

The only games from that year I can see living up to their reputation off the top of my head are Alien Isolation and South Park The Stick of Truth, and that's because both games were more moderate with a lack of boastfulness form their community.

Admits to having only played 1 Dragon Age game, but refers to the franchise as one of the most mismanaged in all of gaming.  Admits to never having played Dragon Age Inquisition, yet claims that it only looked good because of medicore competition.  Sounds legit...

Inquisition was a very good game, and I spent a lot of time playing it and greatly enjoyed it for that reason.  Not because "there was nothing else good to play at the time."  Also, I disagree with your comment regarding Shadow of Mordor "being massively overrated".  The whole reason people are up in arms about Loot Crates being shoehorned into Shadow of War is because of how it messes with the great formula (Nemesis system) of the original game.  If Shadow of Mordor wasn't actually a good game, no one would care about the sequel, because there would have been no foundation to be hyped about.

Yup, If I had known this before I bought the game I definitely wouldn't have purchased. This is beyond unacceptable and need a big yellow header on the store, there is none. I'm not sure about the box but It should also be labeled clearly and boldly. This game is going to be heading back to a lot of stores just like the original destiny. Does anyone know if I can get a refund on PSN?

if that happens the seminew will be very cheap =]

The game is great how it is. First everybody complains about the old recycled cars and tracks, they are ugly and no one needs 99 Supras and shit, and then they rebuild everything from the ground up, build a new, improved, much better looking and driving, modern and just more FUN GT game...and everybody complains again! People are stupid, don’t like change, don’t know what they want.

The game is amazing online, the new AI is by far better then before and better than in the competing games btw...people just need to understand that this new step was something the brand needed the most! A smaller, of course....one car takes 6 months to be modelled...but much more focused and polished experience than GT games of old!

All server trouble was to be expected at the launch of a hugely anticipated online focused game.

Ask the people on the net playing it. They love it. Those complaining the most are those who haven’t played it yet.
