Forums - Gaming Discussion - GT Sport: Sony Are Idiots

The reason being to avoid cheating because of the very competitive intent... should have really split what is won off and online and avoid this issue.

No at all lol

Sorry.. I don't know what that means lol.

None of the franchises you mentionned are nearly as mismanaged as Gran Turismo.

In fact I don't know why you'd think Dragon Age is mismanaged. The latest Dragon Age game won GOTY by most publications..

BU-BUT Gran Turismo is the best selling franchise of Playstation, how dare you?!

I've been saying this for years, Kazunori Yamauchi is a Diva that has to be replaced for a young guy with new ideas.

Yamauchi is like Kojima, but multiplied a hundred times.

There is absolutely NO excuse how after all these years, there has been what? Like 25 Forza games that have been rated in the 80's and 90's and now comes this incomplete bullshit game barely making it to 80.

Have you seen the fucking studios of Polyphony Digital? Naughty Dog is a dumpster.

Please, dont come at me with BUBUBU GT brings the millionz.

We are gamers, not stock brokers.

You've just gained like 100+ respect points in my eyes, man. Not everyone who loves a company is willing to call them out on their BS. Kudos, man (edit: You too, Turkish).

I haven't played Gran Turismo since GT3 on PS2 so this doesn't really effect me but, as an owner of NBA 2K on the Switch, I'm not too fond of the trend of games not giving you credit for playing offline. I hope this trend dies a horrible death. This is right up there with Forza loot crates when it comes to bad ideas fucking up good games.

^^^yep. I was surprised to see who created the thread too

LOL. I've always been a straight talker and have called Sony out on quite a few things. This just happens to grind my gears more than other things. I always remember when MS tried to introduce DRM and I railed against it. Many people on this site and on other sites said things like 'If it was Sony who were doing this you would be fine.' I wouldn't and I'm NOT.

This is an idiotic and ante consumer move. If they patch in a save then I'l rename the thread. Until then, up yours Sony.

The PS5 Exists.

Fallout? Mass Effect? Dragon Age? Call of Duty? HALO?

All these franchises at least get games on a regular basis. GT is as rare as a sun eclipse nowadays.

I don't think people would be mad with an online only spin-off if they at least managed to release GT7 in a timely manner.

I'd at least give him Mass Effect and Halo.

Definitely Halo.

I haven't actually played any DA game besides Origin, that one I was going off what fans said. The others I believe in full heartedly as big fans of those franchises.

That being said I never hear someone casually bring up Inquisition, it almost seems forgotten, and that game along with many other games suffered from what I like to call the "2014 syndrome". Essentially there were so many big disappointments coming out that year that the few decent games we got ended up being massively overrated (Shadow of Morodor, Dark Souls 2) or were good games that looked greater than they were against all the mediocrity (Wolfenstein The New Order, Far Cry 4, probably Dragon Age). Essentially, 2014 was such a dry year it is kind of self-explanatory why Dragon Age won.

The only games from that year I can see living up to their reputation off the top of my head are Alien Isolation and South Park The Stick of Truth, and that's because both games were more moderate with a lack of boastfulness form their community.

Bitching today, patch tomorrow...

So after Forza annoyed everyone with loot boxes, Pholiphony managed to do even worse with GTS.
Kudos to both

Harsh. I wasn't feeling this game anyway. Kinda burnt on racers right now, and I think this put me off a little bit more. I'm not looking at another GT game until they bother with a full mainline release. But, I have a feeling it's gonna let me down.
