Forums - Sales Discussion - Which new game will be the most sold on PS4? Call of Duty vs Assassins Creed vs GT Sport vs Fifa vs StarWars..

Which new game will be the most sold on the PS4?

Gran Turismo Sport 21 20.79%

Fifa 18 28 27.72%

the new Call of Duty 35 34.65%

the new Assassins Creed 2 1.98%

Star Wars Battlefront 2 9 8.91%

Destiny 2 1 0.99%

see results 5 4.95%

Total:101

If you wanted to know what is the better game or what I prefer that would be GT. But on sales I can see GTS doing from 8 to 12M and I remember Fifa and CoD being able to outdo that, So GT would be 3rd in sales.

But considering the other games are interaction of games that already appeared on PS4 and are multi-platforms I have no doubt that GTS will give the better push on HW.

Gran Turismo will be number 1 this year, and lifetime, we are talking PS4 only.

Full break down:

GTS>CODWW2>Fifa>SWBF2>D2

I can see GTS outselling them all lifetime across all platforms to be honest. The only one that could really threaten that is COD.

You could see GTS outselling these titles across all platforms... you know Fifa 17 sold 17.5m just at Retail, and Battlefront 13.28m also just at retail.

Fifa 17 also sold over 10m units on PS4 before the end of 2016, so I don't see how GTS will be the best selling on ps4 this year.

I don't see GTS having a chance, what are the figures you are expecting?

I was thinking between 3 and 4 million week one, 8 - 10 million by years end, and 15 -20 million lifetime. PlayStation is the most popular it has ever been, and this is the deepest Gran Turismo so far. As they continue to add new tracks, additional forms of racing, and more Classic, Current, and Future cars across the spectrum, I expect sales to remain very strong for many years. With the tie in, with FIA, people earning their racing license, and major tournaments built to shine the spot light on the top drivers, this game has the potential to sell even more than 15 - 20 million.

15-20 million units (Gran Turismo Sport) ? Sounds incridible. My question is:

Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)... how are the sales figures worldwide ?

Woah, I reckon even half of what your predicting is pushing it. That'd be 1.5-2m week one, 4-5m years end & 7.5-10m lifetime, that'd still be very impressive.

I'd guess 1-1.5m week one, 3-3.5m years end and 6.5-7.5m lifetime. If it's mass bundled then signifcantly more obviously.

For this topic I'd say Fifa > Cod > Battlefront 2 > Destiny 2 >/= GTS > Assassin's Creed

11,950,000 according to PD's website.

I have no doubt this game will far exceed GT5 when it is all said and done.

Cod thus year will sell gang bangers

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

COD, i think that sick special camo PS4 will help. sidenote im seeing no hype for A.C

1. CoD
2. Gran Turismo
3. Gran Turismo

It's hard to predict Gran Turismo's sales since the last game launched 4 years ago, after ps4's launch and only for the ps3. But I think it will sell well.

Thanks for the information. In some stores the PS4-Bundles are sold out completely (UK/Germany). Let's see how much is sold in the first month.

The Assassins Creed hype is small, i think.

Interesting.. The new Call of Duty or Fifa wins the poll maybe.
