Interesting how you say this shouldnt be considered legitimate seeing as Gary Johnson was laughed out of running for president because he didnt know where Alepo was.

A bit more serious, but it wouldn't have been a deal breaker if I wanted to vote for him.

It honestly destroyed his run. This means in general it means more than we think. Any little thing you do on the campaign trail can affect how you're percieved. Trump must be having constant lapses of judgement because these things people are considering small are adding up.

It didn't destroy his run. Most americans don't know what Alepo was. I don't know what Alepo is. Gary Johnson lost because he was a libertarian and knew literally almost nothing in other world affairs, besides just Alepo(he couldn't even name a world leader he admired, and not by choice mind you - he said he was having an "Alepo" moment).

This is worse than Alepo becaus the Virgin islands are *in his jurisdiction

Trump bought the whole damn island? Lol.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

You see where I was getting at though. We all have little gafs, so I wouldn't consider what Trump did to be a big deal in this case.

Not really. I don't think that's fair. First of all, I didn't literally mean that it was owned by him. I felt like it was pretty obvious what I was saying ... if Trump said he owned the virgin islands, CNN would probably jump down his throat but people would give them backlash over it saying it was obvious what he was getting at.

You're just asking for a more specific clarification, what I said was not technically a mistake, as it can be interpreted quite clearly.

Not even knowing what parts of the world are under your jurisdiction .... that's completely different.

And of course, you're comparing Trump's knowledge to that of a 17 year old high school drop out ...

As leader of the US...the US Virgin Islands are the domain of the country and thus he should know about it by default. Aleppo is a totally different story.

The man is legitimately mentally retarded

No.  It is not more probable.  Because there is a clear pattern.

Trump doesn't kknow what the nuclear triangle refers to.  He claims that Clinton had a majority for 8 years (he didn't).  He claimed Andrew Jakcson was angry about the civil war (he was too dead to be angry).  He didn't know much about the relationship between China and North Korea.  He didn't know health care was complicated.  He's referred to non-existent terror attacks.  He doesn't know anything about "the cyber" except that his 10 year old son is amazing with it.  He seems completely unaware of the US' military arrangements with Japan.  He claimed he owns 100% of Trump vineyards (he owns none of it).  Etc etc.

When you make a mistake now and then you get the benefit of the doubt.  When you consistently show you have no idea what you're talking about, you are, as the Secretary of State allegedly said, a fucking moron.

This post explains it all. And I see no one defending this "one time slip-up" have bothered to argue with it.

I promise you, he doesn't know the 50 states or the territories of the US. He's a complete idiot on all levels.
